Hi, I'm Kirstie.

Kirstie Wibberley is a Level 3 qualified personal trainer in Alloa, specialising in strength and conditioning, body confidence and sport-specific training. Based at PureGym Alloa and serving Clackmannanshire, Tullibody and the wider Stirling area, she helps people of all ages and experience levels feel capable, confident and that little-bit unstoppable.

She's also a former Primary School Teacher who loves to travel; go out for coffee and cake; talk nonsense and be a geek in the same sentence; pick up heavy things in the gym; and spend money on running shoes and race entries for the finishing-line-banana and crumpled-up race number you get to keep as a souvenir.

For me, training is about more than unwelcome 6am wake-up calls and a list of your favourite foods on the ‘no-longer-allowed’ list — it’s about meeting you where you are.

It's about having someone who can hold you accountable, support you to build a sustainable lifestyle, and put your physical and mental health at the centre of every session. Kirstie wants to be your cheerleader from the sidelines while you learn how to show up for yourself — and celebrate with you when the strength, resilience and discipline you build in your training start showing up in your day-to-day life.

Do I need any gym experience to train with you? +
No — you don't need any gym experience. Kirstie meets you where you are, whatever your starting point. She works with people of all ages, all body types and all experience levels, and she'll build your confidence in the gym from your very first session. Most clients start exactly where you are now.
Where are you based? +
Kirstie trains clients at PureGym Alloa, Candleriggs, FK10 1EA. The gym sits in central Alloa with parking nearby, and clients regularly travel from across Clackmannanshire, Tullibody and Stirling to train with her.
What does a typical session look like? +
Every session is built around you and the goal you've come in with. Expect proper coaching on lifting technique, programming that progresses week on week, and someone who actually pays attention to what's working — and what isn't — instead of handing you a generic plan you could have found online.
I want to feel more confident in the gym — can you help with that? +
Yes — body confidence and gym confidence are exactly what Kirstie specialises in. With a background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy alongside her PT qualification, she understands that feeling capable in the gym takes more than just learning the exercises. She'll coach the strength and the mindset together.
Do you train people for specific sports or events? +
Absolutely. Sport-specific training is one of Kirstie's specialist areas. Whether you're training for a 10K, a half marathon, a Hyrox, or something more niche, she'll build a programme that targets the demands of your event without burning you out before race day.
